INTRODUCTION

Nos encontramos hace dos años, y poco apoco fuimos planeando lo que serían nuestros próximos años.

David un británico, que ha viajado en su motocicleta por mas de 10 años y yo Mónica una colombiana que por su trabajo a podido conocer y disfrutar de muchas partes de este gran mundo.

Tomamos la decisión de juntarnos para iniciar una vida llena de cambios y de aventuras.

Para esta primera aventura elegimos un tuk tuk llamado por nosotros Twiggy, lo acondicionamos y por 24 meses nos acompañara a visitar cada país de Sur América, cada espacio, cada rincón de Twiggy es muy bien utilizado.

 Para nosotros el tema del peso es muy muy importante, mas peso menos potencia y menos velocidad.

Por que SOLO 10 KG cada uno tiene derecho a 10 kilogramos de su equipaje personal, no es fácil la vida nos llena de apegos, de cosas que creemos necesarias y después te das cuenta de que la felicidad y tu tranquilidad no depende de nada de esto.

Después de organizar muchas cosas de Twiggy y de nuestras vidas iniciamos un viaje que tenemos planeado para 24 meses.

We met two years ago and for the last year have been planning what will be our adventure for the next 2 years.  Monica is Colombian who through her work has been able to know and enjoy many parts of the world.

I am David, a Brit who has travelled by motorcycle to many countries for more than 10 years.  We made the decision that our life together would be full of changes and adventures and for the first adventure we chose a tuktuk which we named Twiggy.   We have made various changes to her since she will be our home while we visit every country of South America.

Twiggy has limited space and power so we tried to ensure every available nook and cranny  is well used.  The issue of weight is very important, more weight less speed.  To this end we limited ourselves to only 10 kg each for personal luggage, the extras of normal life have been abandoned and only things we believe necessary have been packed.

You soon realise that happiness and tranquility is not dependent on what possessions you have.

It took a while to get Twiggy fitted out and organise our lives but we eventually succeeded and departed from Medellin Colombia on 16 March 2019.
